As manager of Milligan Insurance Agency, Eric is responsible for all functions of the insurance agency that is affiliated with Farmers and Merchants Bank. Eric’s specialty is crop insurance, but he also writes home, auto, farm and business insurance. He really enjoys providing service to the men and women involved in agriculture and other businesses involved in the rural economy. Eric has been associated with the agency and bank since 2001.

Eric grew up on a farm near Friend, Nebraska, and currently lives in Milligan, so he has been around agriculture his entire life. He is married with three sons. Golf is his outlet when work and weather permit.

Insurance Agent/Office Manager
Vicky Thompson

Vicky is a licensed insurance agent that also acts as the Office Manager for Milligan Insurance Agency. She can assist clients with all lines of insurance including home, auto, life, health, farm and business. Vicky first became associated with Farmers and Merchants Bank in 1977, and with the exception of a seven-year stint as a stay-at-home mom, has been with the bank since that time. She has held many positions within the organization and, as such, is very knowledgeable of all the products and services offered by the bank and agency. Her personal goal is to provide the best products and service possible to all clients.

Vicky has lived in Milligan since 1977, is married to Bob, and has two grown children and a Lhasa Apso puppy named Lexi. She likes to read, walk her dog, watch TV, play cards and occasionally attempt to put together a quilt.

Tami Filipi

Tami joined the office in December of 2006, and is licensed in all lines of the agency.  Her focus is crop insurance, but she also assists Vicky in personal lines, such as home, auto and farm.  She has enjoyed learning about the ever-changing insurance industry and enjoys working with new and current customers.

Tami grew up in Daykin, Nebraska, and currently lives east of Milligan with her husband, Neal, who is a farmer.  They have two daughters and are currently expecting another child.  In her spare time, Tami enjoys spending time with her family, playing volleyball, going for walks, working on “never-ending” home improvements and being outside on the farm.

Amanda Bruntz

Amanda is the newest member of Milligan Insurance Agency, joining in September 2008.  She is licensed in crop and personal lines and also serves as the agency bookkeeper.  Her focus is mainly on crop insurance.  With a business administrative degree, she has enjoyed learning about the insurance industry while being able to utilize her accounting skills on the agency bookkeeping.

Amanda grew up near Dorchester, Nebraska, and currently lives on a farm south of Friend with her husband, Allen, who is a farmer.  They welcomed a son in July 2011.  In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, camping, golfing and volleyball.
